It’s dance nationals and that means I get to put together a bunch of team motivators for Rosie and her friends. This Push Pop motivator was easy to make and the girls loved them last night (probably because of the sugar). If you want to make these for your team it’s super easy. Here’s what you’ll need.
- Push Pops
- White Card Stock
- Scrapbook paper in team colors
- Glue Stick
- Paper Cutter
- Scissors
- Paper Punch
- Curling Ribbon
First, I made the tag on Pic Monkey. While I have both Photoshop and Publisher on my computer, Pic Monkey is so easy to use it winds up being my go to for simple graphic design. I also use it a lot to clean up photos quickly.
Most of the dance team motivators that I’ve seen say “Push yourself to be the best.” I don’t like that message because let’s face it- not everyone can be the best but they can strive for their own personal best so that’s the message I used. I printed them out, cut them and then glued them to scrapbook paper to give them a little pop.
Next, I cut them out, punched holes in the left corner and tied them to the Push Pops with curling ribbon. The result? A great treat with a motivational message that all the girls loved!
You can make these for dance, cheer or just about any team sport. All you have to do it match team colors and adjust your hashtags. Last year, I was the motivator mom for drill team and had to come up with all kinds of ideas. If you’re looking for some clever ones, check out my dance team motivator post from last summer. It has a free printable. Want even more? Check out my more dance team motivator post from the Fall.
What kinds of things do you make for your team?

You’re welcome. It’s so easy to use. I use it for all my images because I just don’t have time to learn Photoshop right now.
