Being a middle aged mom has it’s advantages. I’ve been featured in a number of publications and on a few websites over the years. Here’s a smattering of DebCB sightings (and yes, in my past life, I was in the financial world. Can you say Crazy? Sure, I knew you could.)
Babble Top 100 Reader’s Choice Winner (Parenting) 2013-The only time in my life it ever paid to be popular. LOL (Unfortunately, for some reason, Babble has removed all the Top 100 stuff from their site, but I swear, I did win!)
35 Power Pinners you Should Follow– Hairspray and High Heels
Plum District, Plum Blog– For eight months, I worked for the e-commerce company for Moms, by Moms. Met some of the most amazing women in the world. And, I did a little writing.
Screen-Free Kansas City– One of my biggest pet-peeves is the fact that these kids can’t seem to put technology down for even a week. We tried in April, 2012. And failed.
Redbook Magazine, Family Road Trips- Summer 2011- Who doesn’t love Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead in Overland Park, KS? And the zoo. And, a million other things that didn’t make it into print. LOL
435 South Magazine- Chairmom of the Board-I had the pleasure to chair the Nutcracker Tea Party for the Friends of Overland Park Arts. What an honor to be featured in this high-quality local publication.
Kansas Magazine- Ballet Classic with a Kansas Twist– This article focused on ballet in the heartland and I was quoted. Woot!
Kansas City Star’s Mom2Mom- I was a featured blogger from 2008-2010. Some of my best writing happened when Rosie was little and I could write about it all. Unfortunately, the site’s been pulled down. Too bad. Tons of great content from moms like me.
