If you have a teenager, you know how hard it is to shop for the holidays. Buying holiday gifts for teen girls is a daunting task. They’re too old for toys. It’s hard to buy clothes for them because their taste changes all the time and face it- as parents, we just don’t know what’s cool. That’s why Rosie and I put together our list. Here are our finds that make perfect holiday gifts for teen girls. You can earn cash back on many of these items if you shop through the EBates site first.
These cases are stylish, durable and teen girl approved. This one in Lulu allows your teen to cover her phone in Lilly style for less than $25. And, if you have Amazon Prime, it ships free.
Life is marked by highs and lows. Without one, we could not appreciate the other. The lokai bracelet is a constant reminder that no matter how far the scale tips in one direction, you should always strive for balance. This is a great message for teen girls. The bracelet is infused with elements sourced from the highest and lowest points on Earth. The white ball, carrying water from Mt. Everest, and the black ball, holding mud from the Dead Sea, exist on opposite ends. A string of clear beads link the two, signifying that throughout lifeβs circular journey, your path is your own. Small bracelet (7″) starts at $18 and 10% of the proceeds are donated (be sure to buy directly throgh the lokai site. It’s almost double the price on Amazon)
This beautiful carousel features five pretty palettes of eye shadows, blushes and bronzers plus Too Faced’s best-selling Better Than Sex Mascara for on-the-go looks or unique individual gifts. Three of the palettes are earth-tones so they’re perfect for a more natural look for your teen. It’s $69.95 on Amazon with free shipping if you have Prime or you can stop by Ulta or Sephora and pick one up today.
Bath and Body Works’ Warm Vanilla Sugar Shower Gel
My daughter loves this scent- It’s not overpowering or heavy and it’s infused with Shea Butter and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and nourished. On Rosie’s wish list? The lotion and shower gel as well. Right now, Bath and Body Works has a Buy three, get two free deal online so you can get all three for under $40 and have a couple to save for Valentine’s Day.
Simply adorable is my take on this company. Love all the designs and so does my teen. This holiday shirt is awesome, but there’s a huge selection of brand new shirts on EBay– starting at $24.99.
Okay, I have to confess that I’m not 100% sure what the attraction is to having matte nails, but I guess it’s hot right now. This top coat leaves your nails with a smooth version of the polish and it’s fast drying, chip resistant, vegan friendly, and free of Toluene, Formaldehyde, Dibuyl Phthalate, and Camphor. On Amazon, it starts around $10. You can also find Zoya products at high end salons.
These socks are high quality cotton with a cushioned foot and leg and arch support. On top of that, they are super cute. Rosie originally picked the “Kiss Me” version but conveniently when I went to the site, they weren’t available so being the good mother I am, I chose Keep Calm. For $18, these are a great stand alone gift- not a stocking stuffer.
Rosie adores these pants. She has them in maroon and wears them all the time. They’re great to lounge in but also are classy enough to wear to school or dance. They’re online starting at $52.80
Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Pink Polaroid Camera
Polaroid Cameras were cool when I was a kid and for some reason, they’re making a comeback with better technology of course. It’s also pink which is a big plus if you have a girlie girl like me. On eBay, it’s $81.88 with free shipping. If you’d like a vintage Polaroid camera, you can order one for $180 from Urban Outfitters.
Your teen will get starry-eyed with this eyeliner and mascara combo from Sephora. The brush does double duty creating a glittery lash line or shimmering lashes. It’s hypoallergenic and only $5.
Hot, hot gift for a couple of years and I found the deal of the century. Want a brand pair, you can get one on Ebay for $104.99.
This lip scrub is amazing! Rub it all over your lips before applying lip gloss (you can even lick off the excess) and you have a perfect pout every time. Rosie loves the bubblegum flavor. This one tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream and it’s only $9.95.
Vans Authentic Lo Pro Tawny Sneakers
We’ve been searching for these sneakers for a while because they don’t have the big thick soles like the guys version. The hot seasonal color goes with almost everything in Rosie’s closet. We finally got lucky and found them on the Pac Sun site and they’re only $45!
Want your teen to spend more time writing? Order one of these handmade journals. So many to choose from on Etsy. You can buy one for $6 and you can double your pages for another $4.
It’s hard to be a teen and not be able to fit into all the cute footie pajamas anymore. This onesie from Abercrombie and Fitch is the grown up version and it can’t be found in stores. While they don’t have this one from last year, there’s a large selection online starting at $52.80.
