Thanks to JORD Wood Watches for sponsoring this post. As always, the opinions are my own.
I have a confession to make. When I worked outside my home, I wore a watch every single day. In fact, I have a few gorgeous time pieces that have been gathering dust since I've worked from home and all of them have dead batteries. When JORD reached out to me to partner, I felt it was time to get back in the habit of accessorizing and a watch is a perfect start.
The JORD concept is interesting. They make modern timepieces that are handcrafted out of raw materials. Some of the watches are self-winding; others have batteries. All of them have innovative design.
For my watch, I chose the Fieldcrest in Dark Sandalwood. Since I wear a lot of black, I thought it would be a nice compliment to my wardrobe. It was easy to order with their wrist measuring tool and came quickly in the mail three days later. When I got the watch, it was a little tight. One quick email to the company and they sent me links to re-size the watch at any local jeweler. Super simple.
JORD watches make incredible gifts. You can personalize the watch with a personal sentiment engraved on the backplate of the watch or you can have the watch box engraved for a nice touch. The packaging is perfect and there's no gift wrap needed. It's a perfect gift for the holidays!
