I have sensitive skin. So, I've loved the Neutrogena products since I was a teen (who remembers using the transparent bar in high school? Me!!) so I thought it fitting to introduce my teen to the line since she's a Ginger and her skin needs a little extra TLC too. So we headed to Walmart to see what the buzz was all about.
Neutrogena has two new lines that are targeted to improving the overall health of your skin. The first, Neutrogenam Skin Clearing Cosmetics, isn't a good fit for us since neither of us suffers from acne, but if you do it's worth a look. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cosmetics line interested both of us since we get extremely dry skin in the winter. My fair skinned beauty was impressed by all the color choices and picked out a few things to try for herself.
Rosie likes any kind of beauty routine that is super fast and easy. So we thought these products would be great. Plus, they'd keep her skin hydrated in cool temps. She started with a swipe of the Hydrating lip treatment on her lips and then moved on to the concealer. It comes in five shades and is formulated to go on flawlessly and mask imperfections (not that a 17 year-old has them anyway).
Next she applied the Hydrating Tint. It's a foundation that's formulated to stay on for 24 hours. It's lightweight and gives a fresh look all day. She liked the easy applicator and felt that it was easy to blend. Plus, with ten shades to choose from, she could pick one that looked perfect on her.
Finally, every gal needs a pop of color on her lips. I originally choose a pale pink for her but she returned it to get a brighter shade. She loves gloss because it hydrates her lips and gives natural color instead of a totally made up look.
The results? A gorgeous, natural look that will help to take care of her skin in sub-zero temps like we're having today. What do you think?
If you're looking to start off the New Year with a Neu You, we totally recommend checking out these products. Head to Walmart to pick them up today.
