Paracord bracelets have been hot at middle school all year (and they sell for $10 some places) so Rosie decided to make her own. The cord is cheap (under $3 at most craft stores) and there’s a wide variety of colors and sizes to keep any tween busy. Now, I’m not sure where she learned to make these (probably from another friend as we didn’t get a book or look it up on Pinterest) but it was a perfect project that she could do all by herself. In fact, it kept her busy for days.
She made bracelets at home, waiting at dance and while I played tennis. That was where she learned that there may be a way to make some cash in the paracord bracelet making business. A few moms that were getting on the court stopped and asked her what she was making. All of them loved them and wanted one of their own. So stay tuned, this Tween Summer Challenge craft may have a part two.
