My teen and I fell in love with LuLaRoe leggings earlier this year. Not only were they buttery soft, they fit her double zero body which isn't easy to do. Unfortunately, she and her BFF Blaine are caught in between the two worlds of LuLaRoe fashion. They fit into the larger kids Gracies, Sloans and Azures, but some of the patterns are too young for them. And, much of the adult line is a little too big. A couple of weeks ago, we decided to have fun and see what looks they'd wear. Boy did we have fun.
First up, Julia. The XXS Julia is a perfect fit on her and she loved it (despite the fact that she thought she wouldn't). All of the smaller Julias I have are the two-toned ones and they look awesome on teens.
Next, we put an XXS Randy on Blaine with a Kids Azure. Both girls can wear a kids ten (for the record, my teen is 5'5″) and it's a little shorter so it's a little more hip for them. This is a great look!
We got a little riskier for the next look. I've heard lots of people say they size the Irma up and wear it as a dress, but would my teen? We pulled a large Irma off the rack to try. She loved the look with a flannel and I think the shirt actually made it into her closet.
Patrick is the guys shirt. Would it look great belted as well? It did and both girls were pleasantly surprised.
Kids Cassies have been out of stock, much to the dismay of my teenager. She decided to throw on an XS Cassie and see what it looked like as a dress and was pleasantly surprised.
Both girls love the Azure skirt, but they don't love the length. So we decided to style it as a dress and it looked absolutely adorable. And, they were twins.
We couldn't forget the Maxi. It's a perfect dress for a teen. I honestly think a solid will work for a dance.
So, there you have it. Lots of LuLaRoe looks for your teen that aren't just tops and leggings, although they definitely need some of those for back to school. I loved the Irma and the Randy with the kids Azure. What's your favorite?
