I needed new glasses and made the mistake of going to the new cheap place on the corner. Now, as I sit here in front of the computer and see glare, I regret it. I completely wasted my money trying to be frugal. That's why I thought it was time to check out Warby Parker's Spring Collection.
The new glasses for spring are windsor rim glasses– not a good look for the shape of my face. They're made from lightweight Japanese Titanium and wrapped in premium cellulose acetate coils. handmade in Italy, they're gorgeous but I need to stick to frames that look the best on me.
I've narrowed myself down to three frames that I want to try. Check them out and let me know which ones you like. They're all so different.
We have a Warby Parker here in Kansas City on the Country Club Plaza, but you don't need a storefront to try them out they have a home try-on program where they'll send you five pairs to try for five days (since there are five new frames in their spring collection, you can try them all). Once you make your mind up, they'll send you a fresh new pair for $99 (or $199 for progressive lenses). And, for every pair you buy, they distribute a pair to someone in need. Affordable glasses from a company that gives back. That's a win win.
So, back to me. Which pair of glasses from Warby Parker's Summer Collection do you like? Should I go ahead and try all five? I think it would be a blast and I love that it eliminates sales pressure and all the people that stop to stare when you're trying on glasses at the Optometrist. Instead of going to the store, I think I'll try the home try-on program and check it out. Stay tuned.
