Over the summer, I accidentally set a hot glue gun on the edge of my glasses which was a total bummer. I've needed new ones for a while. In fact, I've had these so long, I periodically have to screw them back together. I love Warby Parker's Winter Collection so I think I'll be buying some new ones for myself for the holidays.
Warby Parker's new Winter 2015 collection features five new shapes for both sunglasses and optical. Keeping with a cooler winter palette, the colorways of the collection include Blueberry Buckle, Grapefruit Soda, Glacier Grey, Squall Blue Fade, and Tree Swallow Fade. A little iciness with hits of invigorating warmth. I'm trying to decide between two. You'll have to tell me which pair you like.
We have a Warby Parker here in Kansas City on the Country Club Plaza, but you don't need a storefront to try them out they have a home try-on program where they'll send you five pairs to try for five days (since there are five new frames in their winter collection, you can try them all). Once you make your mind up, they'll send you a fresh new pair for $99 (or $199 for progressive lenses). And, for every pair you buy, they distribute a pair to someone in need. Affordable glasses from a company that gives back. That's a win win.
So, back to me. Which pair of glasses from Warby Parker's Winter Collection do you like? Should I go ahead and try all five? I think it would be a blast and I love that it eliminates sales pressure and all the people that stop to stare when you're trying on glasses at the Optometrist. Instead of going to the store, I think I'll try the home try-on program and check it out. Stay tuned.
